So we started groupwork on our app. We eventually agreed on making a game about growing plants reminiscent of a Tamagotchi. As someone who grew up with virtual pet toys, I found the idea to be quite cute. I'm in charge of making the app look nice, so I'm in charge of graphics. Due to the size of phone screens being smaller than other electronic devices and how popular the art style is, I knew right away that pixel art would be the right choice for this app.
